"Eric Hovde Challenges Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin Senate Race"
TL;DR
Madison businessman Eric Hovde officially enters the U.S. Senate race, aiming to challenge Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin for a third term. Hovde, supported by the national Republican party, emphasizes unity and perseverance in his campaign message. The announcement sets up a high-profile race in a battleground state, with Hovde focusing on economic issues and criticizing the Biden administration's handling of the economy. Democrats have attempted to portray Hovde as an out-of-touch millionaire with ties to California, while the race is rated lean Democrat by political analysts.
