FBI to Brief House Oversight Leaders on Internal Biden Document Amid Contempt Threats.

The FBI will bring an internal document related to allegations that Joe Biden was involved in a criminal scheme with a foreign national to the House Oversight Committee on Monday. The document contains allegations made by an unnamed whistleblower but does not provide proof that they are true. The FBI and prosecutors who previously reviewed the information couldn’t corroborate the claims. The top two members of the committee will receive a briefing from the FBI and review the document behind closed doors. Despite the FBI’s accommodation, the committee plans to move forward with the contempt process against FBI Director Christopher Wray for failing to turn over the document.
