Florida Governor Sends Help to Secure Texas Southern Border

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the state is deploying over 1,100 assets and resources to aid Texas' border security crisis, including 101 Florida Highway Patrol Troopers, 200 Florida Department of Law Enforcement Officers, and 800 Florida National Guard Soldiers. The resources are available through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC), and Florida stands ready to help Texas respond to the crisis.
