GOP Rivals Criticize Trump for Congratulating Kim Jong Un

Republican presidential candidates and other GOP leaders criticized former President Donald Trump for praising North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un for a new position with the World Health Organization. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and other Republicans condemned Trump's foreign policy as reckless and stated that congratulating dictators is not something to play with. Despite Trump's large base of support in the GOP, Republicans who have long criticized him also condemned his praise of North Korea's dictator.
