The FBI has declined to provide congressional Republicans with an unverified document that allegedly outlines a criminal scheme involving President Biden and a foreign national, blowing through a Wednesday deadline to produce the information that was subpoenaed by House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman James Comer. The FBI said it is committed to beginning the constitutionally mandated accommodation process and would be pleased to coordinate with staff to discuss whether and how it can accommodate the request without violating law enforcement and national security obligations.
