House Republicans Push for Expulsion of George Santos from Congress

House Republicans from New York have filed a privileged resolution to expel Rep. George Santos from Congress following a series of scandals, including allegations of misleading voters, federal indictments, and additional charges. The resolution was introduced by Rep. Anthony D’Esposito and co-sponsored by Reps. Brandon Williams, Nick LaLota, and Marc Molinaro. Santos has pleaded not guilty and claims he is entitled to due process.
