IG Report Details Toxic Labor Department Culture Under Chavez-DeRemer

An internal watchdog’s 40-page report concluded that former Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer repeatedly violated department policy, tolerated harassment, spent public money on personal travel, and had an inappropriate relationship with a security detail, describing a toxic, intimidating workplace at the Labor Department that ended with her resignation in April.
