Llano County Library's Future Uncertain Following Book Ban Controversy

A federal judge ordered a Texas county to return a dozen mostly children's books to circulation after the commissioners violated the constitution by banning them. The Llano County commissioners are now considering whether to shut down the public library system. Seven local residents sued the county for banning the books, arguing that their First Amendment rights to free speech were violated. The judge ruled in favor of the residents, stating that the county officials were making access to the books difficult or impossible.
