The Justice Department's internal watchdog has released a report accusing Massachusetts US Attorney Rachael Rollins of a broad array of misconduct, including leaking information to sabotage the campaign of her preferred candidate's rival in the race for Boston's district attorney, accepting free tickets to a Boston Celtics game, and accepting payment for travel and meals from a sports and entertainment agency. The report also alleges that Rollins used her position to try to influence the outcome of the race by providing potentially damaging information to the media about her successor, District Attorney Kevin Hayden, while supporting his political rival. Rollins' attorney said she will resign by the end of the day on Friday.
