Obama Revives 'Hope' Slogan in $13M Midterm Push
Former President Barack Obama is intensifying his role as the Democratic Party's lead surrogate ahead of the 2026 midterms, reviving his 2008 'hope' slogan in new digital ads and fundraising efforts. According to CBS News, Obama has raised over $13.6 million for Democrats since last year, including $3.6 million this week for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. The DNC released a 52-second ad featuring Obama urging voters to 'turn hope into action' without naming President Trump. Obama is also planning a campaign stop in Michigan on October 24 to support Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, aiming to mobilize voters in close races.
