Michael Adams, Republican Secretary of State, Wins Kentucky Primary Despite Election Deniers' Efforts.

Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams won the GOP primary, defeating two challengers who campaigned on voter fraud claims. Adams worked with Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear to expand voting access during the pandemic and led the charge to codify some of those changes into Kentucky law, along with some ballot security measures. Adams refused to cater to conspiracy theorists in election administration, even if it meant he would lose his job. He now faces Democrat Charles Wheatley in the November general election.
