Minnesota Democrats Withdraw Endorsement of Minneapolis Mayoral Candidate Omar Fateh
TL;DR
The Minnesota Democratic Party revoked its endorsement of Omar Fateh, a democratic socialist challenging incumbent Mayor Jacob Frey in Minneapolis, citing voting process issues at the party convention. This move has sparked division within the party and is seen as a setback for progressive candidates, with Fateh's supporters claiming it disenfranchises voters and stifles progressive voices.
