Montana Judge Denies Transgender Lawmaker's Return to House Floor

A judge in Montana has denied a request by transgender lawmaker Rep. Zooey Zephyr to return to the state Legislature after her Republican colleagues barred her from participating in floor debates over her actions against a bill banning gender-affirming care for minors. The judge said the request would require the court "to interfere with legislative authority in a manner that exceeds this Court's authority."
