"Montana Senate Race: Rosendale Withdraws, Ex-Navy SEAL Seeks GOP Nomination"
TL;DR
Republican Rep. Matt Rosendale is dropping his Montana Senate bid less than a week after launching it, citing former President Donald Trump's endorsement of a different candidate and a lack of resources as reasons for his decision. This move is seen as a boost for national Republicans, who are backing another candidate and aiming to avoid a damaging primary. Rosendale has not yet decided whether he will run for reelection to the House.
