Musk and Ramaswamy Join Trump's Efficiency Team Amid Criticism
TL;DR
Elon Musk's close involvement with Donald Trump's transition team is reportedly causing tension among Trump's long-time advisers, who feel Musk is overstepping his role. Musk, who has been a vocal supporter of Trump, is co-leading a new "Department of Government Efficiency" but is seen as overly aggressive in pushing his views and agenda. Despite this, Musk's support has been significant, including substantial financial backing and public endorsements, though some speculate on the sustainability of his relationship with Trump.
