Nebraska Senate hopeful confronts leaked audio targeting Trump voters

Independent Nebraska Senate candidate Dan Osborn acknowledged a leaked audio clip in which he says Trump supporters' lives suck badly, telling CNN it sounds like him and that it was out of character. He apologized to those offended and said the remarks referred to disenfranchised voters. He says he plans to win by appealing to independents and some Republicans, while incumbent Sen. Pete Ricketts criticized the remarks as mocking Nebraskans.
