Nebraska Senate Hopeful Osborn Addresses Leaked Audio Targeting Trump Voters

Nebraska independent Senate candidate Dan Osborn acknowledged the authenticity of a leaked recording in which he’s heard criticizing Trump voters, saying it sounds like him and offering an apology to those offended while stressing that anger among voters and the political system is real. Democrats cleared the way for Osborn to challenge Republican Pete Ricketts by backing him to avoid splitting the opposition. Osborn, who has campaigned across about 55 Nebraska counties, promotes a populist, working‑class platform—supporting labor and abortion rights with gun rights and tougher immigration enforcement—and says he won’t caucus with either party if elected.
