Nevada GOP Governor Vetoes Multiple Gun Control Bills

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, a Republican, vetoed three gun restriction bills that would have added more restrictions on gun ownership and purchasing in the state. The bills included a ban on possessing firearms within 100 feet of a polling place, a ban on semiautomatic shotguns and rifles for those aged 18 to 20, and a prohibition on owning firearms for those convicted of hate crimes.
