New York Democrat's archived tweets showed sympathy for Marxism and Lenin

CNN reports that archived tweets from Democratic congressional nominee Darializa Avila Chevalier show repeated sympathetic references to communism, Marxism, and Soviet figures, including calls to abolish police and borders and to “seize the means of production.” The account, “Darializabonet,” was deleted in June 2022. Posts also touched on Palestine solidarity and campus protests; Avila Chevalier says she has grown since then. Trump has accused her of being a communist.
