"Parkland Survivor Redirects Trump's $399 Sneakers Website to Gun Safety Site"
TL;DR
Parkland survivor David Hogg trolls Donald Trump's new sneaker venture by purchasing the domain shoptrumpsneakers.com and redirecting visitors to an anti-gun violence website where they can call lawmakers to advocate for gun safety. The website features AI-generated voices of gun violence victims and has facilitated over 58,000 calls to politicians. Hogg, now president of Leaders We Deserve, has used the site to raise awareness about the impact of gun violence, with over 43,000 gun violence deaths in 2023.
