"Poll Reveals Gov. Kristi Noem's Approval Rating Stands at 43%"

A new poll from Emerson College shows that less than half of South Dakota residents approve of the job Kristi Noem is doing as Governor, with 43% approving and 36.5% disapproving. Noem's support is strongest among men, the Republican Party, and those aged 50 to 69. Only 30% of voters under 30 approve of her job performance. Speculation about Noem running for U.S. President or being selected as a running mate has circulated, but only 25% of respondents in South Dakota believe she should be chosen as Donald Trump's running mate. Additionally, 42% of South Dakotans believe President Joe Biden stole the 2020 election, while 62% do not approve of his job as president.
