Proud Boys trial concludes with blame on Trump.

Former head of the Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, spoke out against the Department of Justice (DOJ) in a Twitter Spaces event hosted by The Gateway Pundit, claiming that prosecutors were unfairly using "locker room" talk against Jan. 6 defendants. Tarrio, along with four other Proud Boys, is facing nine counts, including the rare charge of seditious conspiracy for their actions on Jan. 6. Tarrio said he believes the DOJ has been "weaponized" against Jan. 6 defendants and that the criminal conspiracy charges against some Jan. 6 defendants were overreach. He also expressed his support for former President Donald Trump and hopes to be appointed as the Justice Department inspector general in a future Trump administration.
