"RBG Award Controversy: Martha Stewart to Receive Honor Amid Family Dissent"
TL;DR
The family of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has expressed disapproval after the Opperman Foundation, responsible for an award in her name, selected Elon Musk and Rupert Murdoch as recipients, stating that it strays from her values. The foundation defended its choices, expanding the award to include men and women who have made significant contributions. The family and a former clerk of Ginsburg's have called for her name to be removed from the award, citing a betrayal of her legacy.
