"Republican Debate Canceled as Haley Insists on Trump's Participation"
TL;DR
Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley's refusal to participate in a Republican presidential debate without former President Donald Trump has led to the cancellation of two upcoming debates, including one by CNN and another by ABC and WMUR-TV. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had committed to participating in both debates, but with Trump skipping all GOP debates so far, Haley's decision became the deciding factor. Haley's move comes after a previous debate where she underperformed, prompting criticism from her GOP rivals. CNN will instead host a town hall with Haley, while the 2024 election continues to unfold.
