TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump suggested that Ronna McDaniel should step down as chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, citing the party's lackluster fundraising and electoral results. Despite holding no formal power over the group, Trump's influence as the Republican front-runner could lead to significant shifts within the committee.
