Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell's Comprehensive Plan to Revitalize Downtown and Address Drug Possession

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell is preparing for a renewed push on a drug possession law after the Seattle City Council rejected a bill that would have made possessing and knowingly using illegal drugs in public a gross misdemeanor. The bill would have also given the city attorney the authority to prosecute drug possession and public use drug cases.
