Stacy Garrity Launches GOP Bid for Pennsylvania Governor
TL;DR
Pennsylvania State Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced her bid to challenge Governor Josh Shapiro in the upcoming election, positioning herself as a strong Republican contender. Despite her impressive electoral record and close ties to Trump, she faces a tough primary battle against far-right candidate Doug Mastriano, whose previous campaign was marred by poor performance. The race is expected to be competitive, with Democrats already preparing to oppose Garrity and Shapiro, who is widely expected to run for re-election.
