Supreme Court to Hear Democrats' Case for Trump Hotel Records

The Supreme Court will hear arguments in the next term on whether House Democrats can sue to obtain information from the General Services Administration (GSA) about its lease for the Old Post Office building in Washington, D.C., which was awarded to a company owned by former President Donald Trump. The case, known as Carnahan v. Maloney, is a showdown between the Biden administration and Democratic lawmakers. The battle stems from a 2013 agreement between the GSA and the Trump Old Post Office LLC, owned by the former president and three of his children, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump.
