Tennessee GOP lawmaker resigns over workplace misconduct.

Tennessee House Representative Scotty Campbell, who voted to expel three Democratic lawmakers for leading a gun reform protest, has resigned following a report that he violated the General Assembly policy on workplace discrimination and harassment. Campbell had been accused of violating the policy by engaging in consensual adult conversations with at least one legislative intern off property. The subcommittee found that Campbell violated the policy and he resigned "effective immediately."
