Baldoni moves to bar on-set misconduct evidence in Lively trial
Justin Baldoni asked a New York judge to block evidence from seven other women, including Jenny Slate, about alleged on-set experiences in Blake Lively’s lawsuit against him and his production company. With the judge having already dismissed most of Lively’s claims, only breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding-and-abetting in retaliation remain. The motion argues the additional accounts are unrelated, attenuated, or not actionable, would confuse the jury, and Hoover had no involvement with the film or Lively’s workplace. The filing targets several individuals’ accounts, asserting they don’t meaningfully establish a hostile work environment and would serve to portray Baldoni and co-producer Heath negatively.
