Gloria Johnson due to her attorneys pointing out “factual inaccuracies in the resolution that was under consideration” before the expulsion vote April 6. Johnson, D-Knoxville, was not expelled during the vote. Johnson, Jones and Pearson all faced expulsion after they approached the House podium between bills during the session without being recognized, breaking chamber rules.
