Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Impeached by State House

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was impeached by the state's House of Representatives over allegations of bribery and corruption, including giving special treatment to a campaign donor who helped him remodel his house. The vote of 121 to 23 in favor of impeachment included a majority of House Republicans, revealing fractures within the party.
