Texas Governor Abbott Sends Bus of Migrants to Los Angeles, Sparking Controversy.

More than 40 migrants, including children, were bused from Texas to Los Angeles, the latest move in a Republican campaign of sending busloads of people who cross the U.S. border to Democratic-held areas. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass condemned the transfer as “a despicable stunt that Republican Governors have grown so fond of.” Texas Governor Greg Abbott defended the move, saying it was due to President Biden’s refusal to secure the border. This is not the first time Abbott has bused migrants to other parts of the United States.
