"Trump and GOP Heavyweights Take Center Stage at RNC 2024"
TL;DR
The second day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee featured speeches from prominent GOP figures, including former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and House Speaker Mike Johnson. The event was marked by a mix of political discourse and lighter moments, such as West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice's appearance with his beloved bulldog, Babydog, who charmed the audience. The day also saw heightened security following a shooting incident near the convention perimeter, though it was not related to the event.
