"Trump and Haley Battle for Big Money in Fundraising Blitz"
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump is intensifying efforts to attract megadonors for his 2024 campaign, securing financial commitments from high-dollar donors and meeting with GOP megadonor Rebekah Mercer. Meanwhile, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is also launching a major fundraising push and holding multiple events ahead of the South Carolina primary, despite Trump's campaign managers arguing she has no path to the Republican nomination. Haley's campaign has raised $4 million online since her second-place finish in the New Hampshire primary and is optimistic about closing the gap before the South Carolina primary.
