Trump Campaign Gains $50M Boost from Timothy Mellon, Surpasses Biden in Fundraising
TL;DR
Donald Trump's presidential campaign received a significant $50 million boost from conservative billionaire Timothy Mellon, contributing to the "MAGA Inc" Super-Pac's $68 million intake last month. This donation came shortly after Trump was convicted on 34 charges related to falsifying business records. Mellon's contribution has enabled pro-Trump allies to outspend President Joe Biden's supporters in recent weeks.
