Trump Congratulates Vances on Alec Neel, JD Vance’s Fourth Child

Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha welcomed their fourth child, Alec Neel Vance, born July 19 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. President Donald Trump congratulated them on Truth Social. The birth makes Vance the first vice president to have a child in office in over 150 years (the last were Schuyler Colfax in 1870 and John C. Calhoun in 1829). The Vances’ other children are Ewan (9), Vivek (6), and Mirabel (4), who are kept largely out of the public eye.
