TL;DR
Rep. Elise Stefanik is gaining traction as a potential running mate for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, with sources close to Trump indicating that she is being considered due to her loyalty and appeal to suburban white moms. However, there are detractors who argue that she is not conservative enough and that her selection could overshadow Trump's potential successor. Ultimately, the decision rests with Trump, who has openly expressed admiration for Stefanik's performance and is looking for a hard-charging candidate.
