Trump debuts Patriot Passport portrait to mark America’s 250th

President Donald Trump unveiled a new portrait of himself to appear inside a limited-edition U.S. passport commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence. The State Department called the design “boldly honors” the president and the nation’s founding, with Trump’s image on an inside page alongside the Declaration of Independence and imagery of the Founding Fathers. The passport, labeled the “PATRIOT PASSPORT” by the White House, will be available at the Washington Passport Agency starting July 6, and Trump promoted a version on social media saying it shows the U.S.A.’s new passport and noting "Welcome, but be good!"
