Trump Endorses Challenger, Targets Rep. Bob Good
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump has endorsed John McGuire, a state senator, over incumbent Rep. Bob Good in the upcoming Virginia GOP primary. This endorsement could significantly impact the race, as both candidates have sought to align themselves with Trump. Good's initial support for Ron DeSantis and his perceived disloyalty to Trump have been key factors in Trump's decision. The primary is highly competitive, with millions of dollars being spent on campaign ads.
