Trump frames Butler attack as Democratic plot, offers no evidence
TL;DR
Trump claimed the 2024 Butler, Pa. assassination attempt was a 'Democratic Plot' to derail the election, offering no evidence. DoJ officials said the new information Trump referenced came from FBI documents provided to a Senate inquiry; media reports about aliases and cremation circulated but ABC News has not independently verified them.
