Trump Intensifies Search for 2024 VP Candidates
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump is actively vetting potential vice presidential candidates, focusing on Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance. The vetting process includes financial background checks, and other candidates like New York Rep. Elise Stefanik and Florida Rep. Byron Donalds are also being considered. The final decision remains uncertain, with Trump having the ultimate say.
