Ralph Norman, the South Carolina congressman who lost to Graham in the state’s Senate runoff, voiced strong criticism of Donald Trump’s involvement in the race, calling it “shocking.” Trump had rallied for Graham and MAGA Inc. spent over $827,000 on pro‑Graham outreach. Graham won 52.4% to Norman’s 47.6%. Norman had previously criticized Trump’s meddling and hinted at political consequences, and he is not seeking re‑election to the House after earlier failed campaigns. The White House did not comment.
