Trump Plans Blue Makeover for Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool
TL;DR
President Trump announced plans to resurface the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with a new industrial-grade surface colored 'American flag blue,' at an estimated cost of about $1.5 million and about a week to complete, with contractors already laying the surface; the project fits his broader push to reshape D.C. landmarks and has drawn criticism from preservationists and Democrats who say proper input was lacking.
