"Trump's Bronx Rally Sparks Controversy and Low Turnout"
TL;DR
New York Democrats and liberal media figures criticized former President Donald Trump's campaign rally in the Bronx, labeling it as "fake" and a stunt to pay his legal fees. Despite the backlash, the rally drew a large, racially diverse crowd, surprising even some media reporters. Critics like Gov. Kathy Hochul and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the event, claiming attendees were not local and the rally was a ploy to soften Trump's image among minority voters.
