Willis is expected to announce in the coming weeks whether she will file charges in connection to efforts by Trump and his allies to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results. Willis has been investigating alleged election interference in Georgia for over two years, and many legal experts believe the case in Georgia is more perilous to Trump. The investigation involves a cast of characters that includes not only Trump and some of his closest advisers but a litany of prominent Republicans.
