Trump's Taped Interview with Tucker Carlson Set to Air on GOP Debate Night
TL;DR
Former President Donald Trump has taped an interview with Tucker Carlson, which is expected to be released as counterprogramming during the first GOP primary debate on Wednesday. Trump confirmed that he will not participate in the debate, citing his lead in the polls. The interview's platform is unclear, but it will likely be released around the time of the debate. Trump's absence has led to criticism from other candidates, including Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley, who argue that he should participate.
