US Continues to Ramp Up Military Aid to Ukraine Against Russian Threats

President Biden has approved the 40th military aid package for Ukraine worth $325 million, bringing the total sent to the country to over $40 billion since Russia invaded in 2014. The latest package includes air defense munitions, anti-aircraft systems, precision-guided rockets, artillery rounds, fighting vehicles, missiles, and small arms ammunition. The US is sending the equipment from its stocks to Ukraine to help the country retake its sovereign territory and support its air defenders. The move comes as Ukraine's long-predicted spring counteroffensive has kicked off.
