US Senators Call on Biden to Disclose Putin's Suspected War Crimes to ICC

US lawmakers are holding hearings to hold Russia accountable for war crimes in Ukraine, including civilian massacres. The hearings will feature the Ukrainian prosecutor general and victims of war crimes, as well as Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. The US is also supporting the creation of a special international tribunal to hold individual Russian leaders criminally responsible for the "crime of aggression." The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Putin, but experts say the court lacks the authority to prosecute Russia for the crime of aggression. Some GOP lawmakers are skeptical of providing additional financial support to Ukraine.
