Uvalde shooting anniversary: Families seek path forward amidst gun control obstacles.

A year after the shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas, families of the victims have been pushing for gun control measures, including raising the age for legal purchase of certain firearms and red flag laws. However, Texas lawmakers have not passed any gun control measures due to fear of primary voters punishing them for supporting anything that might look like gun control. While the families have been successful in changing the conversation, the political reality of the situation may not change until the electorate in Texas changes.
